Tips before you paste a Halloween bio
- Save your normal bio first. Copy it into a note before you replace it. Plenty of people want it back on November 1st and can't remember what it said.
- Keep sign text short. The frame is a fixed width, so a long message stretches it out of shape. About 15 characters is a safe maximum.
- Don't add a third line to a sign. If you need more words, use a two-line sign like the "be nice / or else" bunny in our Discord bio ideas guide.
- Count emojis as two. Most emojis use two of your 190 characters, and some (like 🐈⬛) use more. The visual bios above are already sized with that in mind.
- Use one spooky font, not five. A blackletter name like 𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔢 from the Discord Font Transformer looks great. A whole bio in it is unreadable.
- Check it on the profile card. A line that looks fine in a text box can wrap in the card. Paste it into the bio generator first and you'll see it the way other people will.

On desktop, open User Settings (the gear icon), go to Profiles, paste into About Me, and hit Save Changes. On mobile, tap your avatar in the bottom right, then Edit Profile, and paste into About Me.
